What is Augmented Reality, 10 Videos on Augmented Reality

There is a lot of talk over web about Augmented Reality Technology which has already changed the user experience completely. Under this a card being placed in front of a cam, shows interactive visual effects like an animated person standing over a card then a helicopter hovering in your computer screen and many more. We just wondered if we can come up with the complete collection of videos with its introduction. So before that, just to have a small brief about this, Wikipedia says,

“Augmented reality (AR) is a term for a live direct or indirect view of a physical real-world environment whose elements are merged with (or augmented by) virtual computer-generated imagery – creating a mixed reality. The augmentation is conventionally in real-time and in semantic context with environmental elements, such as sports scores on TV during a match. With the help of advanced AR technology (e.g. adding computer vision and object recognition) the information about the surrounding real world of the user becomes interactive and digitally usable.

Augmented reality research explores the application of computer-generated imagery in live-video streams as a way to expand the real-world.”

So basically, it is a mix of both real and virtual visual effects, It has got 3D effect and in real time. This is made by use of few application  and bit of programming and below are few videos of Augmented Reality.
