Virus on Facebook (Do NOT click on “My Ex-girlfriend cheated on me”)

Facebook which is world’s 2 ranked site(Alexa) has recently got infected by virus, which looks like an application and displays a girl in white bikini with heading

“My Ex-Girlfriend cheated on me….Here is my revenge !”

Once you click on it it will get posted on your wall and initiate the problem in your account. Many people have got infected by it and Facebook team has already started working on blocking this URL and cleaning up all the infected pages.

There is an update from Facebook security page which says,

“Some people have posted about the appearance of an application listed as “Unnamed App” in their Application Settings. This was a bug, which we have now fixed. It did not damage any accounts. Be wary of any sites that claim to be able to fix this, as they might contain malicious software.”

So if you have already clicked on it then it is advisable to delete the post and change your password immediately. We will keep you posting on this.

    Facebook will be more prone to these kinda attacks. It’s only possible to eradicate or probably minimize the risks if people stop adding each and every application that facebook has to offer.
