Today I am back with another article on How to Update Samsung galaxy S2 GT I9100 Latest XXLPB ICS Android 4.0.3 Firmware as there is a recent release of XXLPB by Sam Mobiles and let me tell you this was the most awaited ICS 4.0.3 firmware for Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100 which comes with many enhanced features like 3d interface but kind of and not the real 3D, better battery life, better touch, faster, facelock and many more and I am sure you would love to use this as I have just installed this on my Samsung galaxy S2 and it is working fine and let us not waste time and move to the article now.

Device Compatibility: XXLPB ICS 4.0.3 is compatible only to Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100 and you should not try this on some other version of galaxy S2.
Update Samsung galaxy S2 GT I9100 Latest XXLPB ICS Android 4.0.3 Firmware
back up of your phone : Before you update the XXLB ICS firmware, take back up of your files on Astro file manager, take back up of videos, images, songs, SMS, call logs and once you are done with this enable USB debugging in to your phone by going to settings< applications < development and then tap on enable usb debugging.
Also make not of APN setting by doing this,
“Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names”
Now you need to download Odin verison 1.83 which you can get online by searching in Google and we are not providing it here and then download the firmware by clicking here and open by password samfirmware.com.
Now get in to download mode by pressing volume down and power key together and you will see an exclamation mark with Android kid.
Now connect your phone via USB and start Odin and as soon as you connect the phone left side of Odin will turn yellow and then open the firmware package and select the tabs as mentioned below,

CSC: GT-I9100-MULTI-CSC-OXXLP5_RST.tar
Click on start and after some time it will show success in green color and congratulation you have successfully updated the XXLPB ICS Android 4.0.3 Firmware on your Samsung galaxy S2 GT I9100.
Now get in to restore mode by pressing volume up button and power button and then Wipe data/factory reset and after this select Wipe Cache partition and reboot your device. You are good to go now. Let us know if you would like to know anything else in below comment.
