I just wrote an article on how to open developer account for iPhone and iPad and now I am back with another article on jailbreak iPhone 4 and in fact many people think for jailbreaking a desktop or laptop should be there but let me tell you this is quite possible and jailbreaking can be easily done without any desktop or laptop. Now again I am back with another article on How to use Gevey SIM to unlock iPhone 4 without jailbreaking it. Before all that I would like to tell you that use of GEVEY sim is banned in USA and other countries too. I do not know about other countries but using GEVEY sim may lead to serious problems as to activate GEVEY sim you need to call up 112 and that gets transfered to 911 and calling 911 for no reason is illegal in USA so I would advice you to not to use this technique to unlock your iPhone 4. Had I been at your place, I would have never done it as i would not like to play with law and order in any ways. So I have already given disclaimer, do not try this.

Jailbreak iPad 2 With Redsnow 0.9.6b

Just now I wrote an article on installing installous on your iPhone and now I am all set to write on jailbreaking ipad 2 with Red snow for your iPad 2, I just tried this on my iPad 2 and was able to jailbreak it, though I did not go until the last step however i was able to see it on my iPad 2. Now let us start the detailed tutorial on how to jailbreak your latest iPad 2 with Redsnow,

Here I am going to write a detailed tutorial on how to jailbreak iPad 2 with Red snow. So for this first of all you need to restore the current version of your iPad iOS and there will be many ipsw files available but you need to have he one which has iPad name on it and after that you need to follow these steps,

  • Now you need to download red snow 0.9.6b and let me tell you that it comes in two versions for Windows and Mac and based on your platform and if you are on Windows platform then select the Windows and then go ahead with installing the software.
  • While doing this , you need to make sure that your iPad is switched off and connected to the computer. Now after installing the software you need to point to ipsw file which already exists on your system and after doing this many options will pop up and then you need to install Cydia and then click on next and
  • Now you need to put your iPad 2 in dfu mode and it will be done automatically and then everything will be done by RedSnow.
