How to Fix Installous API Error

After a small gap of few days I am back with another article on iPhone and this time I am writing on how to fix Installous API error as I got many comments from my viewers and they asked me about this error. As we all know installous is a Cydia apps which lets you have cracked apps on your iPhone and earlier I had written an article on install installous 4.4.2 on iOS and later I got many queries from users that they are getting API Permission Denied or API Unavailable error and it is not letting then install cracked app through installous. Now when we talk about this error this happens because of app sync conflict and there might be some problem in app not able to sync properly. Now we just talked about two kind of errors, one is API unavailable and other is API permission denied and below I will talk about both the errors and how to fix this problem. So lets start with the first one which is API permission denied.

API permission error occurs when your IP is permanently or temporarily blocked due to excessive usages or request to installous API and to fix this you need to get your IP unbanned if you have a static address. Let me put this in this way,

  • If you have static IP then you might be in problem as it does not change and you will have to get the ban unlifted from the Installous forum and for this you need to know your IP and for this you need to follow below steps,
Run< cmd.exe< type IPCONFIG and hit enter and this will give you your IP address.
  • If you have dynamic IP address then you are saved as you need to wait only for sometime and it will change automatically as dynamic IP keeps changing in some time.
  • You may also use proxy server to access internet and for this you need to go to, Settings < wi-fi< wi-fi network and tap on choose your HTTP proxy and surf intrnet through proxy servers.

How to Fix Installous API Unavailable Error
This is nothing but there might be some problem with the app downloading website Apptrackr.org and for this you need to make sure that you are connected to the internet and need to check on your computer if Apptrackr.org is working fine. If not then you need to make sure that this website is not blocked by your internet service provider or browser.
If everything works fine then you need to wait for sometime as this website might be blocked and you would not be able to sync Installous. So this is how you can get rid of Installous API error and do like Loudable on Facebook.

Now Let us start the article which I have mentioned in the heading and this article is on how to re-download purchased apps. many times it has happened with me when I forget to take back up of my iPhone data and apps and after upgrade I lost all my data and that time I find myself helpless as I download many apps on my iPhone and it is really frustrating and I find myself cheated after doing that but now I do not worry about that as I have found a way to re-download apps after upgrading or just in case I lose my apps.

First of all I will explain you how you can re-download purchased apps on your iPhone and then later I will explain you how it can be done in iTunes store

so let us start this tutorial on re-download purchased apps on your iPhone. On iPhone because of upgrade or some other reason if you have lost all you app data then all you need to do is on your iPhone tap on app store and there you will find a tab for updates and then you need to tap on purchase and it will show you the purchase history and nest to the app you will find cloud button and from there you can download the app.

Now I am done with iphone and now let us look at the tutorial on how to re-download purchased app in itunes. For this you need to go to iTunes store and then on the side bar you will find iTunes store. There on this option you will find option of PURCHASED and there you will find all your purchased apps till date and once again if you want to download this all you need to do is just tap on the cloud button and it is done.

How to Find IP Address in iPhone

Just now I wrote few articles on iPhone like how to turn on battery percentage meter in iPhone 4 and iPad 2 and then how to fix battery drain problem in iPhone 4 after iOS update and now I am back with another article on iPhone and this time I am writing on how to find IP address in iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 and for that matter you can find IP address in any of your iPhone version. Well now when we talk about IP address it is basically internet protocol and it is given to the device by DHCP server which calles dynamic host configuration protocol and it depends on the type of connection and according to that you will be allocated IP address and if you have normal wi-fi connection then you might get dynamic IP which keeps on changing after some time and if you have static IP address then it will always remain the same.

Now even in your iPhone it happens the same if you have an iPhone and you are connected to the internet through wi-fi then you get the IP address in your iPhone and below tutorial will explain you how you can see IP address in your iPhone.

For checking IP address on iPhone, all you need to do is,

Go to settings < tap on wi-fi option and now this will show you available connection and then you will get to see various network and you need to see which network you are connected to and then you will find an arrow sign next to it and now tap on the DHCP option and it will tell you the IP address you are connected to and wil lgive you correct information like IP address, subnet mask, Router, DNS etc.

How to Fix Battery Drain Issue in iPhone 4 After iOS Update

I am again back with another article on iPhone after back to back articles on iPhone which were on how to fix iPhone keep rebooting problem, How to fix iPhone home button not working and now this time I am writing on how to fix battery drain issue in iPhone 4 after iOS update like 4.3. I have faced this problem in my iPhone 4 when I upgraded to iOS 4.3 and I was pretty tensed about this as it was consuming battery like hell and my iPhone was behaving weird. I searched online and came up with the solution after implementing these solutions I was able to get rid of iPhone battery drain problem and after that my iPhone started working fine and even now after so many updates it is just working fine and I hope it will work fine in future too. Now let us talk about the things you need to do when you face brain drain problem in iPhone 4 after iOS update.

Now once you start facing this problem all you need to do is just do some tweaks in settings and you are good to go with the better battery life in your iPhone, so let us start with this solution which can save battery in your iPhone 4 after iOS update. For this first of all you need to go to home screen of your iPhone and now go to Settings < now you need to select Enable Restrictions under settings tab and now you need to enter 4 digit pass code< now you need to scroll down to ping settings and then you need to click on the option to disable it and this is it, you are done this can save a lot of battery in your iPhone and you will be able to save good amount of battery in iPhone 4 after iOS update.

How to Fix iPhone Home Button Not Working Problem

just now I wrote an article on iPhone keeps rebooting and solution to how to fix it and now I am back with another article on how to fix iPhone home button not working problem in your iPhone. I had the same problem in my iPhone 3GS and had a tough time with it before I got a solution to fix it. Now whenever this problem occurs two things might be possible, one is there could be some problem with the software or the hardware. If there is any problem with the hardware then you are going to have problems as you will have to visit Apple store, however if there is any software problem it can be easily fixed.

Now when we talk about software problem in your iPhone, it basically happens when there is some kind of conflict in the programming of the software and it can not communicate properly with the home button and it results in home button not responding in your iPhone and it could be both single as well as double tap. It happens that home button of your iPhone becomes numb and there is no response, so for fixing it we will have to restore your iPhone and that could be done by restoring iPhone.

Before that there could be two types of restoration of your iPhone and it could be done by two ways, first one is by restoring data from your iPhone back up option and the other one is complete restore, however many people say it cannot be done by both the ways. So lets look at another way out by which we can resolve this problem and this is as below,

First of all you need to open an application in your phone and now just press the power button until slide to shutdown appears and now you need to just release the power button.

One you are done with this you need to hold the home button and you are done. Your iPhone’s home button should work now.
