Are you getting missed calls from international numbers on your Vodafone and international numbers ? If yes then our advice is not to pick such calls and DO NOT call back those numbers as it might cost you a lot and it could be somewhere between 12 to 45 rupees per minute. Well I am saying this as I was recently victimized by such call and I just called back the number as I keep getting calls from my international clients and relatives who are living abroad. So this time again I thought that some one might have called me and not able to reach me so I called the number back and this is what I got to hear from the bugger on the other line,

“Sir I would love to inform you that you have won 25 lakhs rupees in our daily lottery and I am calling you from Airtel supervisor’s number”

He actually said that in hindi and the number was something like that, +92305037631 so I searched online and came to know that Airtel has already warned their subscribers not to pick those calls and they are going to ban all these calls which immediate effect though theyhave not done anything of this sort and I am still waiting for them to take action on this.

Vodafone Recent Announcement 

Vodafone has recently announced that if you are getting calls from number like +22455104362 so you need to ignore that call and just call up 111 or 198 and report the number and they will try to ban the number.

Aertel user just report this to  airtelpresence@in.airtel.com.

The most important thing is if they ask you that if you have won some freaking lottery and DO NOT believe them and DO NOT entertain them by doing whatever they ask you to do.
