You also need to enable USB debugging and connect Samsung Galaxy S2 to your computer through USB and you may do this by following below steps,

Just in case if you are using custom ROM then in that case you need to first get in to recovery mode and then select Wipe data/factory reset and then wipe cache partition and later on you need to select reboot system and let your system restart and then you need to clear the dalvik cache to make sure your earlier custom ROM is not available in the OS.

You first need to download the firmware here  and type password samfirmware.com and then you need to download Odin and you can do that by clicking on here and type in password iphoneandroidtips.org

Now you need to extract the file and put your device in to download mode, you may see this in the video below,

Now you need to open Odin and in PDA select I9100_CODE_I9100XXLP6_CL72050_REV02_user_low_ship. tar and now you need to click on phone and then select MODEM_I9100XXLP6_REV_02_CL1097526.tar and after thic click on CSC and select GT-I9100-MULTI-CSC-OXXLP3_RST.tar and you need to click on start now. Wait for some time and congratulations you have successfully updated to XXLP6 Android ICS 4.0.3 on Galaxy S2.
