Google always comes out with good news for its users and this time it has added some new features to its Google Maps for Unites States.

Now people who want to travel within USA can look up for biking directions, to make it simpler for people to travel. Biking directions will help you take the shortest routes to reach your destination. Google Maps in partnership with Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, provides for 12,000 miles of trails and 150 cities across the country.

According to Google Blog,

“Include as much bike trail data as possible, provide efficient routes, allow riders to customize their trip, make use of bike lanes, calculate rider-friendly routes that avoid big hills and customize the look of the map for cycling to encourage folks to hop on their bikes”



You just need to add your starting point and your destination. If required also add any specifications like avoid highways or tolls. Add the vehicle via which you will travel.

You will get the exact direction that you need to take in order to reach your destination and also the various stops that you can take in between.
