Facebook has recently introduced a new feature in the home page of it and this is called Facebook Ticker. This feature lets you see all the recent activity happening with your friends and it keep on pushing messages on your home page. I liked it a lot but for few people it is really annoying and I came to know about this when I was searching for the Ticker review online. Many people find it irritating as it keeps on displaying messages and friends activity which are not even required and this is data consuming for people who are on mobile. This feature will keep on eating data on your mobile and in the end if you are not on the unlimited plan then it will cost you a lot.

I saw this feature sometimes back and initially liked it a lot but later on I found it very irritating as my Facebook profile is for my blogging and I keep on getting updates from my fans who I do not even know and most important it is very irritating as something keeps floating at the right side of your screen. Now For hiding facebook ticker on Google chrome, you need to install an extension and you can get the extension below, after clicking on install it will show message that this extension has been installed and once you install it just reboot your browser and next time you will never see it again.

Now installing extension on Google Chrome you will not be able to see Ticker again and just in case you want to activate ticker then click on wrench tool of Google chrome and then click on tools< Extension and you will have list of all installed extensions on Google Chrome and from there you can enable and disable and then reboot your browser and you will be able to see it again.
