We have seen many people complaining about their website not getting indexed by Alexa or in other words, when somebody want to see ranking of his website in Alexa, it shows “no data” with no ranking. It is actually very disappointing for some one to get into this kind of situation as ranking of your website is important to attract advertisers and at the same time to see the global and regional performance of your blog or website. So what is the solution of it?
The easiest solution of this problem is to get your site crawled by Alexa and for this you first need to open Alexa.com, once this is done key in your website address and get details. You will see a graph where it shows no data in Alexa, just below it you will find “Learn more about Alexa Traffic Stats” and once you click on it you will land on page, where it explains everything about Alexa traffic ranking. Now at the left sidebar you will see webmasters. All you need to do is just click on this link and you will have a complete explanation about how to get your site crawled by Alexa manually and what are the various changes need to be done in order to crawl specific pages.
At below you will see “Crawl my site” so here you just need to enter web address of your blog or website and click on Crawl my site.Now your site will be crawled by Alexa crawler. After this submission it normally takes Alexa crawler to crawl your website within 8 weeks.

Good post man, Mine took a couple of days to register then it was away. It’s all about the toolbar, get a toolbar in your browser and it will recognise it quicker

wow!!! it can be helpful . but after registering it may take a couple of days to track u r site . so i think first they can wait for 2 to 3 days….

cool.. i have seen that error message in most of the beginner’s blogs
Because new blogs don’t have stats for giving any rank in alexa. Alexa gives cummulative ranks for many months. If you have 5 crore ranks which will still gives no rank when you consider for 3 months long.
I dint get you.
I mean.. alexa gives rank for new blogs for short period of time like… 5 crore for first month. But when you take as an avg for three months. It don’t show any updates. This can be only resolved by using alexa widjet with requesting alexa bot to visit you site only for new websites.
Well in that case you can just website crawled.

Tayeb it normally takes few days and if you want Google to crawl your site then submit it to Google and update it on real basis, you may also contact me for any services related to it for better visibility in Alexa and Google.
