Today we are back again with another article on how to hard reset, Unroot and install HCL Me X1 tablet to trail to our previous article on root HCL ME X1 tablet PC in India and in the same article we had written about installing clockworkmod on HCL ME X1 as well. We have already talked a lot about HCL ME X1 tablet and now today we will tell you how you can perform hard reset on this one. So let us start this article with first perform hard reset in HCL ME X1 then install Android Market and then at last we will tell you how to unroot HCL ME X1 tablet PC.
Hard Reset on HCL ME X1
To perform a hard reset on HCL ME X1 tablet PC you need to do this,
Start>Settings>System>Clear Storage then type 1234 and then tap on Yes.
The other way is to press the silver keys left and right which is below the screen and then you need to insert a needle or anything inside a whole which is at the bottom back of it and keep pressing it for 5 seconds and follow the on screen instructions.
Install Android Market in HCL ME X1
You need to first download the file from here.
Unzip the zip file and place in on SD card or anywhere you want for that matter. Download Astro file manager from Android market and then open the file which you have on the SD card and now you need to install the .apk files one by one. Now reboot your device and you have the Android market in your HCL ME X1.
Unroot HCL Me X1
To unroot you need to download the Superuser.apk and then you need to delete the su binary from the /system/bin directory. Do let me know if you face any problem in doing this and I will help you out for sure.

Thanks for the guidence in Rooting HCL AM7-A1 tablet. Was so disappointed earlier bcoz hardly there are any information on how to root this device as well the dam Android Market not available.
Finally, now have rooted the device.
Will now try to install the Market app.

I followed ur instructions and installed market app on my ME tab.. Bt whenevr i try downloading files frm the mkt, it gives me an erroe saying not enough memory. i have 8Gb MMC in my tab which is unused and also 2.5 Gb memory is free in flash. bt still m able to install only small apps of size 10-15MB after which it keeps giving error of low memory space..
Kindly help
