Today when I logged in to check my adsense earning, I got to see the new interface and was amazed to see the new added features. I checked the new features of adsense and pretty happy to see that they have added many new features. Adsense no doubt is a major earning source for bloggers and online community. Since very long adsense had the same interface which was quite user friendly. After introducing this new interface, I am sure it will be appreciated by lot of people. Now when we talk about new features of new adsense interface, I will divide that in various parts and then explain every feature one by one.

Graphs:

We all know images say more than thousand words and Google has understood this and introduced graph feature in adsense. Now you may analyze adsense data by the help of graphs on performance report. You can view your earnings, impressions and clicks in an easy graph and that will certainly save your time for sure. You may also compare between different ad slots and decide to keep them into your blog. You may now see the performance of your ad slot by day, channels, ad types, bid type, products and ad units. In graphs you will get to see multiple metrics and you will have option to compare between those metrics. It has buttons like “compare ” and “charts” which will allow you to compare your data and compare upto 5 channels in one shot respectively.

Customization of graphs

You may also customize your graph by choosing in a drop down and if you do not want to customize it then you may click the “save as default report” button.

More Control Over Ads

New Google interface will give you full control over ads by introducing allow and block buttons. Allow and block button will let you choose ads as per your wish like kind of ads in your blog. You may now hold or publish ads in ad review centre which means, you may now keep the ad in your new Google adsense interface and see how would they look in your blog and if you really like them, you can publish those ads in your blog. They have provided this new interface with two buttons “hold ads” and “run ads”.

Many Blocking Features

This new interface has many blocking features such as blocking advertisers urls. For example you have a website on inexpensive food items and Google ads are showing advertisements of your competitors then in that case you may block ads of your competitor.

You may also block ads category like sex, religion, regions etc. This time you have the option to block specific third party network ads.

More efficient than before

New adsense interface is quite efficient then before and it will give you comprehensive reports with charts and graphs, which we have already discussed. Now when you update your contact information or editing number of ad units then it just needs few clicks and your work will be streamlined and done in few seconds. There are many help links which will help you to understand this new interface fast and take complete advantage of it.

What is still the same:

We have already talked about things which have changed but there are many things which are still the same like you need not change the ad codes and your targeting. At last to make you happy payments methods are still the same and there is no change into it.
