To increase the user experience of its users, today Facebook introduces new feature for Facebook pages and this feature will now let your blog visitors to LIKE your Facebook page and not becoming fan of it. They need to click on a button called like and they will be able to join community of your blog’s page. There are lot of features added to your profile too, you may now organize your liked pages as per your interest and find more details in Facebook help page. Now on your blog if you have facebook fan page instead of showing become a fan, it will say like and number of other people who liked it.

You may now see how many of your friends liked your blog’s page and how many others are there who liked your blog and become part of your blog’s community. Send Google Calendar Invitations Via Gmail

Google has added yet another feature to your Gmail account which will enable you to send Google Calendar Invitations straightway from your Gmail Id via an email.

Now you don’t need to open up Google Calendar specially to send and invitation to any person. The feature also allows you to check whether a person is free on that particular day or not.

To make things even more simple for the users, Google has provided the icon, just adjacent to attach file option.

All you need to do is click on “Insert Invitation”. A new window will open up in front you, which will require to fill up the entire information. This is just like the information you fill up in Google Calendars’. Like, what is the occasion, when is the invitation due for, who all will be attending, where will it be held. Once you fill up all the information, just click on “Insert Invitation”.

By adding recipients in the “To/Bcc/Cc” Fields in your email, you automatically add guests that will receive this invitation. As soon as you send the email, the invitation is automatically send.

Now all you need to do is open up you email and you will be able to send an invitation within a few minutes, without actually having to go to Google Calendar.

How to Keep a Track of Your Logins on “Gmail”: Latest Security Update

Google has brought about a change in Gmail’s IP address feature to warn users if their account is being used by some other person.

Many of us may not be aware of this feature in Gmail. Gmail shows the IP address that you logged in to your account from the last time and also the time. This feature has been provided to users so that they can catch hold of anything going wrong with their account. Once you log in to your account you can see the IP address at the bottom of the page. But only a few people use this feature, and another problem is that people don’t know their IP Address.

So in order to protect the interest of the users, Google made a slight modification to this feature. Now if someone logs into your account from an unknown location (IP Address), then Google will warn you. You will also be warned if someone has logged into your account, at the same time as you are logged into it. People who travel a lot may find it to be troublesome, so they can disable the feature.

So we have decided to publish series of articles from coming week and that is 1st April until 31st June. How To Find Hottest Search Topics in Google Trends

Earlier we had written articles on various Google services like, Google Similar Images, Google Fast Flip, Google Pack, to name a few. Today’s post is on another Google service, Google Trends.

Google Trends is yet another awesome service from Google, that lets you search and compare how many people in the world are looking out for topics of your interest. Once you enter the topics Google shows you how many times that particular topic has been searched and the areas where they have been searched over a period of time. At one point of time you can search upto five topics in one go.

 

Google web searches are analysed to check how many times the search for a particular topic has been done before. This is in relation to the total number of searches made on Google. the results are displayed in a graph, called the Search Volume Index Graph.

Google Trends has another feature known as the News Reference Volume Graph, which represents the number of times a topic has appeared in Google News Stories.

 

To make it more interesting and user friendly, Google has added Google Hot Searches. It shows top 40 topics that have been searched the most in the past one hour. Being updated every hour, it lets you know what people are searching at a particular period of time. These reflect on those topics that have seen a sharp change in their search trend.

 

You can also subscribe to Google Hot searches by clicking on Site Feed after opening the Hot Searches section, which lets you stay updated.

In our recent posts we have talked about many Google products like Google flip, Google pack, Google SEO report card. So like these Google products Google has one more product for you which is called Google Movies. This tells you about movies which are running near your locality with name of their theatre with show timings. It has got many options such as movies which are running today, tomorrow and even for next two days.

Now when we talk about other features it has movies categories like action, animation ,drama, romance etc. Once you click on movies it takes you to movies and theatres where they are running currently, with their reviews, photos and IMDB link, so I would say a perfect place to read reviews too where you will find useful and authentic reviews, unfortunately it is limited for few countries. Here you can also check location as in this image I chose location as New York city and it is available for almost all the countries.
