Many times it has happened with me when I have deleted important data in my  computer or iPad accidentally  and want it back desperately. Recently it happened with me when I deleted an important file on my Mac and tried almost everything to recover it but unfortunately I could not. I tried my best to recover it but all I got was some other files, never mind. There are many softwares which are available to get your data back to you and even for phones it is available in the market. Jailbreak iOS 5 With Redsnow 0.9.8b4 with Download Links

Recently I had written an article on Jailbreak iPad 2 with Redsnow and Now you may jailbreak your iPhone iOS 5 beta 4 with Redsnow 0.9.8b4 and this would be the first Redsnow 0.9.8b4 software which is available OTA (Over the air) and this is not going to work on already jailbroken iDevices. Now if we look at the update by the developer team, this is as follows,

“ In conjunction with iOS5 beta4 being released to iOS developers, redsn0w 0.9.8b4 is now available for jailbreak app developers (point the b4 redsn0w at the b4 IPSW).  Remember, it’s a tethered jailbreak right now so you’ll need to use redsn0w to boot into a jailbroken state at each power cycle.

NOTE: It appears that by design, the OTA update that became available starting with iOS 5 beta4 will *not* be automatically applied to jailbroken devices.  That’s a relief to those who don’t want to lose their jailbreak via OTA pushes.  If you’re jailbroken, you’ll need to use the standard iTunes method to get to iOS 5 beta4.“

Jailbreak iPad 2 With Redsnow 0.9.6b

Just now I wrote an article on installing installous on your iPhone and now I am all set to write on jailbreaking ipad 2 with Red snow for your iPad 2, I just tried this on my iPad 2 and was able to jailbreak it, though I did not go until the last step however i was able to see it on my iPad 2. Now let us start the detailed tutorial on how to jailbreak your latest iPad 2 with Redsnow,

Here I am going to write a detailed tutorial on how to jailbreak iPad 2 with Red snow. So for this first of all you need to restore the current version of your iPad iOS and there will be many ipsw files available but you need to have he one which has iPad name on it and after that you need to follow these steps,

  • Now you need to download red snow 0.9.6b and let me tell you that it comes in two versions for Windows and Mac and based on your platform and if you are on Windows platform then select the Windows and then go ahead with installing the software.
  • While doing this , you need to make sure that your iPad is switched off and connected to the computer. Now after installing the software you need to point to ipsw file which already exists on your system and after doing this many options will pop up and then you need to install Cydia and then click on next and
  • Now you need to put your iPad 2 in dfu mode and it will be done automatically and then everything will be done by RedSnow.

Install Installous 4.4.2 on iOS 4.3.3

Recently I had written an article on how to back up Cydia app while upgrading your iPhone and tether iPhone 4 without jailbreaking, now I will have an explained article on how to Install Installous 4.4.2 on iOS 4.3.3 and before that installous is installed to install cracked apps. The latest version of installous is 4.4.2 and this is compatible with latest iOS of iPhone. I just did this on my friends iPhone and really enjoyed this a lot as I did not face any problem, the only problem which I faced was battery drain problem which I fixed later and I will have a detailed article on that too. So let us start with detailed explanation of how to Install Installous 4.4.2 on iOS 4.3.3.

For Installing Installous 4.4.2 on iOS 4.3.3, all you need to do is jailbreak your iPhone, iPod or iPad on iOS 4.3.3 and then I will explain you in step by step tutorial to Install Installous 4.4.2 on iOS 4.3.3,

  • Now open Cydia on your already jailbroken device now go to Manage< Sources and then you need to type http://cydia.hackulo.us and then tap on add button,

  • Now after this Cydia will automatically update the repo list and then type Installous in the search field and then select Installous 4.4.2 and tap on install and when you are done with installation just restart your iPhone or iDevice.

How to Tether iPhone 4 Without Jailbreaking

Just now I wrote an article on how to restore Cydia data and apps while upgrading your iPhone now I am going to write on how to tether iPhone 4 without jailbreaking, just in case if you are not aware of what tethering is then let me tell you about this. Tethering will make your iPhone a wi-fi hot spot and you can surf internet on your laptop and desktop with it. I have done the same for my iPhone 4 too and surf internet on my laptop when I am outside my home and really enjoying this a lot. It is said that for tethering you will have to jailbreak but it is just a myth and nothing else, you can tether your iPhone or iPhone 4 without doing this too. Lets see how you can tether iPhone without any jailbreaking.

Let me tell you one thing, your service provider (carrier) may charge bit extra for tethering so you should be ready for this,

  • For this you need to go to MobileConfig and then go to www.help.benm.at and then download this
  • Now you will have a screen which will ask you to install and then tap on install now you will get a pop up for profile installation
  • Now go to your iPhone preference app < general< Network < Internet tethering< and now turn it on.
  • you will have network interface notification on your iPhone 4 and then then it will start connecting to your computer and now switch off wireless and boot your phone and you are DONE.

How to Back up, Restore Cydia Apps While Updating iPhone

Well as I said I will have articles on iPhone and iPad as I own both of them now, the reason behind posting these articles are that I keep on fiddling with my iPhone and iPad so I thought why not write these articles for Loudable. So lets start this with article, I have always been afraid of upgrading my iPhone. I have done this for my friends many times and really enjoyed a lot but every time I was afraid of losing the important data and apps. I really do not want to lose my Cydia apps while upgrading and I am sure same applies for you too.
