When we talk about this, you have two options, free blogging with services like WordPress, Blogger, Typepad etc and  the second option is blog on your own domain. Now let us explain you meaning of these terms one by one.

When we talk about free blogging with WordPress, Blogger, Typepad and many more, the name of your blog comes with their domain name, for example Loudable.wordpress.com. At the other hand when you have blog on your own top level domain name then it will be www.Loudable.com .

Blogger.com — This site is for amateur bloggers who want to experiment in this field. You can put up on you blog various posts, photographs. The site is very easy to use.

WordPress.com — This is yet another site very useful for the bloggers, who can open their blogs with this site. So its best for people who don’t have much of technical knowledge.

Blog.co.in — The different thing that the site provides is that you can write in a lot of languages apart from English, like Hindi, Kannada, Bengali, Punjabi and many more. So if your blog is more suited for a particular region you can always with this site.

Thoughts.com — As the name suggests, thoughts.com is a conversation engine for bloggers to discuss amongst themselves different aspects about their blog. It has a wide database of pople, photographs and friends.

Livejournal.com — Apart from being a blogging site for various people, live journal is also provides its users a chance to earn money through Google AdSense, through its newly launched Your Journal.

Blogsome.com — It’s the simplest of all blog sites and within fraction of a minute you will get your blogging account made for free.

Weebly.com — After opening up in 2006, this site has become one of the favourite one amongst all bloggers. The site is backed by people who are experts in their categories

Blogster.com — It is an online community of people who like to share their thoughts with others.

Com-x2.com – Here you can earn money through your blog as they have AdSense sharing programme

Soulcast.com – They also claim that you will get paid for your blogs as they also provide you with AdSense option.

Typepad.com – This is another free blogging tool for bloggers with many amazing features.
