Finally a dream come true for K.R. Sridhar and his team at Bloom Energy. After 8 years of research and hard work and with $ 400 million spent into the venture, Bloom Energy has come out with Bloom Box.
Bloom Box is a refrigerator size box which will be able to provide light to the entire house. It uses oxygen, natural gas, bio-gas as fuel. So its very environment friendly. This has been priced accordingly at somewhere between $70,000 and $80,000.
Google is the first customer to have bought Bloom Box.
